Prudential Realty Company Partners with J. Ryan Consulting to Cut Energy Costs
Commercial Realtor Joins Tribune-Review Publishing Company and Allegheny Valley Bank as J. Ryan Customers

Pittsburgh (Aug 4, 2003) J. Ryan Consulting, Pittsburgh’s leader in energy and telecommunications cost reduction, today announced that it has entered into agreement with Prudential Realty to manage their energy consumption costs at their multiple commercial properties. The service will allow Prudential Realty to focus on its core business while J. Ryan matches usage and cost data to optimal rate structures and service plans.

“Most companies don’t have the time or the trained staff to take advantage of plans and service structures that change on a monthly basis,” said Jeffrey Poborsky, President of J. Ryan Consulting. “We help our customers to integrate energy and telecommunications usage into their overall business strategy and see immediate overhead cost reduction.”

“We don’t have the expertise in house to comparison shop for energy vendors,” said Howard Engelberg, President of Prudential Realty Company. “J. Ryan manages our energy costs for many of our commercial buildings and saves us money every month.”

Deregulation of the telecommunication market in 1996 and the energy market in 2000 introduced competition that had not previously existed. The variety of rate structures and service plans available to businesses today and the rate with which they change is staggering.

“Think about all of the "savings" offers you receive from long distance and wireless carriers,” said Ray Hartung, CFO, Tribune-Review Publishing Company. “If your business is not studying and taking advantage of the best calling plans, then you are spending too much for the service. J. Ryan is committed to following the ever-changing cellular market. They have the professionals to review, pursue and match the best calling plans to our corporate needs.”
